Jody B. Merl
President

Jody Merl founded Innovative Travel Marketing (ITM), the only barter company in the United States that specializes in the hotel and travel industry, in 1992. Ms. Merl has more than 20 years experience in hotel sales and marketing with hotel companies including L’Ermitage Hotel Group and The Leading Hotels of the World. She used her background to move into the barter business as Vice President of Travel Services with Broadcast Marketing Corporation, a corporate barter company.

Ms. Merl is the co-founder of the ITM Hospitality Fund that donates hotel accommodations to patients and their families traveling to New York City for urgent medical care.

Diane Morgan
Vice President Sales and Marketing

Ms. Morgan has extensive hotel experience having served as Director of Advertising and Promotion for both Marriott and InterContinental Hotels. She was also Vice President of two advertising agencies, Grey and Wells, Rich, Greene where she handled the Sheraton Hotel business as well as the award winning "I Love New York" campaign. Diane came to us most recently from Wall Street where she was Senior Vice President of Advertising for Smith Barney, a division of Citigroup.

Debbie Durso
Media Director

Ms. Durso brings over eight years of media planning and buying experience to ITM. Prior to joining ITM, as Media Director, Ms. Durso served as Senior Media Planner with DKB and Partners Inc. Her clients included: The Meadowlands Sports Complex; LeafGuard, and South Jersey Transportation Authority and Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority. She is responsible for maintaining the current media relationships, as well as bringing new and exciting media opportunities to ITM's clients.

Michelle C. Walsh
Media Planner/Buyer

Ms. Walsh is one of the newest additions to the media department of ITM. Prior to joining the ITM team, Ms. Walsh worked as a Media Planner/Buyer at Brushfire, Inc. Her clients included New Jersey Travel and Tourism, New Jersey Lottery, Minwax and Thompson's Waterseal. She is responsible for maintaining relations with our media partners, as well as introducing fresh and unique media opportunities to ITM's clients.

Tessie Remo
Director of Client Services

With over 14 years of hotel sales and reservations experience, Ms. Remo is responsible for the management and distribution of hotel inventory and merchandise for ITM. Ms. Remo’s attention to detail and personal service keep both our hotel and media clients happy. Before joining ITM, she worked in corporate and group sales for the Oberoi Hotels, The Warwick and the New York Helmsley Hotels.
